It's frustrating to see such a long article about diabetes that never clarifies the type. Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes are entirely different diseases, and it does a massive disservice to both communities to refer to it as just "diabetes" without even an attempt at clarification. (Not to mention the other, more rare, sub types.) They're entirely different diseases, and vastly different in terms of their causes and treatments.
