In a sense, it would be a replication of the current follower system, but with money following it more directly ( the bigger the forum, the more admin would be paid; and each member would have some skin in the game and a cost associated with each post likely reducing unnecessary behavior ). Like you said, the economic details need to be hammered out, but maybe it does not sound as ridiculous as it did not that long ago.
