I've been here a while, and I haven't noticed any sudden recent changes. There have always been such posts, and while I do think it's getting a little worse over time, it's changing very slowly: the good posts and comments are just as good, but the ratio of junk is slightly higher as volume has gone up. I wonder if this might be specific to what you pay attention to. If I remember, you are Indian. I do think that there is more squabbling about Indian politics than there used to be. This isn't necessarily for the worse, but I wonder if you might be noticing and reading these posts more than others.
