They said that each Oauth based auth user/key will have 100 requests/min.
So is it not possible for third party apps to create a process which generates Oauth token for each user when they sign up/join in via their app ?
In that manner, each user have their own token and each user can have their own 100 req/min, which should be sufficient for most if not all users.
- goykasi 3y agoThis would seem like a good way to remedy the problem, but afaik, the limits also include the Oauth clientid. So, limits are actually tied to the client application as a whole -- not just user usage. This is where the limits for a popular app quickly fall over.
