Well, not everyone. There are still situations in which the decryption would not be testimonial in nature and would thus not be privileged.
- mbateman 15y agoOr situations in which the data wouldn't incriminate the owner of the data but rather someone else, etc.
- electromagnetic 15y agoStill, handing over the data would require the government agreeing that they wouldn't mine the data to find a prosecution against you, which is likely what companies already do.
