There’s a vaguely similar choice of prefix (?) such as dr mr mrs miss ms etc. I don’t like the miss/mrs distinction and use ms unless it pisses off the recipient. Another preference. They could have just filled in the form, and left it at that. They’re probably claiming to be a Christian and the big guy wasn’t into judging or false actions. Live as an example, surprise people by helping out (big guy liked that also) and don’t make their lives worse because of your insecurities. You don’t know their problems. Nobody died and made you king. Oh, as someone who creates computer applications “Use the default” is a common action. People looking at me or most others make all sorts of assumptions and accepting the default works in most cases. I can leave those blank.
