I think 3.3% of all Canadian deaths were from MAID which is around 10000 deaths last year. Im worried at some point in the future this will become the practical alternative to spending money on social support safety nets like food banks and homelessness resources. It will be marketed as the "compassionate solution". If you dont work really hard at your job to stay employed the alternative is no longer food stamps and homelessness, its "compassionate death".
