Silicon Valley escalates the battle over returning to the office
- ClumsyPilot 3y agoAll the people garping on thay 'corporations take the most efficient route' need to hang their head in shame. We have scientific proof that productivity pf software devlopment does not decrease, and we have conclusive proof of stress and waste of resources caused by commuting, and corporate overlords force us to commute anyway
- jleyank 3y agoCompanies either want to break worker power or have non productivity related reasons to get butts in seats (tax issues? Real estate? Sad bosses?). And they gotta stfu about climate and environment if they’re forcing commmuting at scale. Before anybody goes on about f2f vs outsourcing, if you’re being paid anything like an SV salary it’s way too much for the bean counters.
