Puberty is an incredibly complex process involving countless genes, signaling cascades, feedback loops, etc etc. There is so much we don't understand about the human body, and thinking that you can just "pause" it, like a video player or virtual machine, is the height of hubris. Osteoporosis, sterility, anxiety and depression… we are just beginning to uncover all the harmful effects of these "treatments".
