I think both solutions vs just counting the number of newlines are pretty bad

- lolinder 3y agoHaha, yep, an iterator would definitely be faster than either! I'm coming from Kotlin where I expect there to be a standard library function for simple tasks like this, but I clearly need to get back in the habit of writing loops by hand.
