The poster (CEO of Reddit) has replied to a few comments so far but they've been downvoted to oblivion so they aren't visible in the main comments; you can see all his replies on his user profile page here:

- Doctor_Fegg 3y ago> The poster (CEO of Reddit) has replied to a few comments so far Fourteen. He replied to fourteen comments. In the space of four hours. It's not often that you see a platform implode in real time.
- colpabar 3y agoSo all the top responses to the top comments in the thread are going to be “seriously, this” and nobody is going to see how spez actually responds. Classic.
- minimaxir 3y agoIt'll get around. That's how the infamous sense-of-pride-and-accomplishment comment did. Going into a user's profile for their comments is a paradigm older than Reddit.
- sorenjan 3y agoYou would think Reddit would have made an AMA sorting mode that surfaces OP's answers even when they're heavily downvoted by now, since it's been a thing for years, but it doesn't seem like a priority for them.

- operator-name 3y agoReddit has a Q&A sorting mode.
- sorenjan 3y agoYes, but it doesn't seem to work very well. It still doesn't show spez's answers, and you could argue that the co-founder and long time CEO should use that sorting order in his own AMA where he knows full well he'll be heavily downvoted, but it seems to use the default "best".
- pimlottc 3y agoHis replies still appear to be hidden in the Q&A sorting mode. https://old.reddit.com/r/reddit/comments/145bram/addressing_the_community_about_changes_to_our_api/?sort=qa https://old.reddit.com/r/reddit/comments/145bram/addressing_...
- tedmiston 3y agoIt's turned on by default on that thread; it's just not helping much with the sheer volume of comments.
- pimlottc 3y agoIt wasn't initially; but as you noted, it didn't help much anyway.
- callalex 3y agoThe Q&A sort mode still shows the most popular questions at the top. The CEO only answered questions with an order of magnitude fewer votes than the top questions. The Q&A sort works fine, it’s just that no questions were answered.
- deely3 3y agospez's responds just a corporate bullshit, and not the hard answers. You can read responces here if you want: https://www.reddit.com/user/spez/comments/ https://www.reddit.com/user/spez/comments/

- jmholla 3y agoAwards on his answers will make them stick around the top.
- hysan 3y agoBased on other comments, it appears that there is a lot of vote manipulation happening on the CEO’s comments. Still in the negative, but they are being capped after some time.
- minimaxir 3y agoIt's not brigading if Reddit explicitly put out a homepage banner for people to engage with the AMA.
- hysan 3y agoMy comment wasn’t about brigading. It was about manipulating the vote count which spez has done in the past. Others have noticed this throttling or editing as well: https://old.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/145hyey/_/jnl9g3n https://old.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/145hyey/_/jnl9g...
- tedmiston 3y agoSomeone made a manual aggregate view of just the answers here. https://www.reddit.com/r/Save3rdPartyApps/comments/145bxmi/ceo_spez_ama_overview/ https://www.reddit.com/r/Save3rdPartyApps/comments/145bxmi/c... There really aren't many answers though, unfortunately. Only 12 answers from u/spez in a sea of 14k+ comments... It wasn't much of an AMA IMO. Mostly very short answers and I don't see any new insights here.
