Why manjaro for those people? What desktop environment?
- squarefoot 3y agoMany of them were/are old people who were used to Windows XP or 7, rarely 8 and beyond, therefore I thought that moving to a XFCE desktop would have been less traumatic for them, and in the end it worked well. XFCE to me is the right balance of features and snappiness, that's the one I use on all my non CLI machines, although I prefer Debian on my main one, but Debian's XFCE defaults on ugly+impractical settings that would need too much work to repeat at each install. I also want to give them a rolling distro, which on Debian can be risky.
