I switched from Ubuntu to Manjaro a few years ago and I have been very happy. The only issue is that commercial software companies have limited (if any) resources to devote to developing for Linux, so often I find that commercial software is available as a DEB or an RPM and that's it. In most cases if the software is popular enough it can be found in the AUR as what's essentially a "port" if any of you are FreeBSD people. But right now we're evaluating device/endpoint management software and the few solutions that ship agents for Linux all treat Ubuntu as king. We did find one nerdy solution that ships an Arch agent, though.
