I ran Arch for about six months back in 2021 on a Thinkpad. As I recall the mouse driver would reset like once a day. I'd be mousing around and suddenly the pointer would teleport to the top-left corner. And the wifi would intermittently slow way down until I restart it. So I switched to Ubuntu. And the wifi troubles continued. But the mouse troubles went away. Perhaps I'd have a better time with a desktop.
