So having abnormally high omega-6 to omega-3 ratios in your food when natural food hardly has any omega-6 fats doesn’t sound like a problem to you?

- digging 3y ago> natural food Are seed oils something other than oil derived from seeds? As in, some of the most natural possible foods?
- whatscooking 3y agoBy your argument, HFCS is derived from corn, so it must also be healthy and fit for human consumption. Seed oils are heated at high levels, processed in a petroleum-based solvent such as hexane to maximize the amount of oil extracted from them, and even chemicals are used to deodorize and change the color of the oils. I don’t trust any ultraprocessed food, including seed oils. They are no different, just a cheap filler.
