I somewhat disagree. These tools are going to be used more and more and will be further seamlessly integrated into other products. There's AI tools getting small factual things incorrect, then there's AI tools calling you a criminal. If anything, it is irresponsible to release a tool to the general public who may be ill-informed, where said tool can call people criminals and describe their involvement in said crime. If a major news website accessed globally wrongly accused you of being a criminal and confidently described your involvement, you would absolutely be mad.
