Good luck. There are a lot of real jobs out there near where the full remote workers already live. I know a lot of people willing to take a pay cut not to drive in San Jose to SF traffic. Google gonna need to buy all the bus stations to make this work.
- hdlothia 3y agoYup it's really irritating that all of these mega rich companies flex their muscles in society in so many ways but never use it to alleviate the commute.
- thghtihadanacct 3y agoIt kinda occurred to me after posting tho that maybe this is Googles cheap way to lay-off. Easier to get people to quit than to pay severance.
- madcaptenor 3y agoMy employer is doing something similar right now and that's basically what all of us think. I have some colleagues who aren't near one of our offices and I hope we don't lose them.
