School Is Not Enough
- thx-2718 3y agoWell as someone whom had formal education taken from me at around 11-13 years I am not sure that I am better off having worked instead of going to school. In fact when I look around at my peers surprisingly they're more prepared for the rigor of an advance education that is required for more intellectually interesting and rewarding work. Meanwhile I'm left with back injuries for the rest of my life and lack easy access to non-physical labor work.
- constantcrying 3y agoLooking back on 12 years of school I have to say that I learned remarkably little. Especially when compared to the rapid learning I had to do in University. I think it seems quite obvious that school mostly exists to keep children occupied while both parents work.
