- colesantiago 3y agoJust wanted to see the original source (to double check for deepfakes) and got curious, what platform is this that Linus is writing on? I can see that kernel.org is where the Linux source but this social.kernel.org is completely unmoderated even with a 'code of conduct'. Absolutely abhorrent replies on the original thread.
- detaro 3y agoSeems they didn't bother to setup any instance blocks, so you get a full taste of the nastier parts of the fediverse.

- constantcrying 3y agoHow do you set up a fediverse instance and forget to block the main neo-nazi (no exageration here, by the way) instance?
- BulgarianIdiot 3y agoThe fact "the Linux creator" is involved in this stupid political drama exchange says a lot about the sorry state of our society these days. I'm not criticizing Linus, I'm just reflecting on the global cultural climate that's encouraging this. And it's getting hotter by the second.
- wkearney99 3y agoWell, we have had to go to war because of the Nazis in the past, so it's not like there isn't precedent, sorry to say.
