The average civilian will harp on about OpenAI collecting their data but will never give two thoughts that their own elected officials are tracking everything they do on the internet.
I ponder on this often.

- shapefrog 3y agoThe average civilian never gives two thoughts that about OpenAI collecting their data (and selling it for billions), never gives two thoughts that about corporations collecting their data (and selling it for billions) and never gives two thoughts that about the government collecting their data.
