- HHC-Hunter 3y agoThe average civilian will harp on about OpenAI collecting their data but will never give two thoughts that their own elected officials are tracking everything they do on the internet. I ponder on this often.

- shapefrog 3y agoThe average civilian never gives two thoughts that about OpenAI collecting their data (and selling it for billions), never gives two thoughts that about corporations collecting their data (and selling it for billions) and never gives two thoughts that about the government collecting their data.
- ttctciyf 3y agoThe intro section is a great refresher on what exactly happened 10 years ago and what it meant at the time, which is easily lost in the tsunami of bloviation which has followed. But, as someone who's never ventured onto that platform before, the venue is kind of shocking: if almost all the things I try and avoid in youtube recommends ambushed me en masse, it would look like a mild version of the Rumble front page. Yuck!
