Perhaps a naive question, but what prevents a user from running an emulation layer with a virtual browser, that pipes the data to a desired client? Term of service? Ok what if they decide to run said adversarial interface, host the code outside of judicial grasp, and cover tracks? Yeah performance would probably be subpar, but if Reddit keeps up this process, that will be the likely inevitable outcome.
