I couldn't afford this without having my own shop space. The parts are cheap, but after setting up something the size of a mini fridge that's covered in bungee cords in my little apartment, the marriage counseling would be costly.
- kennywinker 3y agoIf aesthetics are more important than cost, I have a blueair 211+ that does a great job and is quite silent. I would buy it again if a DIY filter was out of the question, tho my next filter will probably be a DIY job with a bit of time spent to make it look nice.
- bombcar 3y agoI got a smart health cube that looks really nice but the filters are a bit expensive. Next time I’ll get one with washable prefilters even if the final one is disposable.
