I noticed a massive difference in L/100Km when i filled up in the US vs Canada. It was unquestionably cheaper to fill up though.

- jerrysievert 3y agoit is more expensive to buy clear gas, but the savings in gas mileage usually makes it worth it. at least until the clear gas went up more quickly than the ethanol gas: $4.79/gal for premium $4.99/gal for clear that was a no-brainer. $4.79/gal for premium $5.99/gal for clear that is a little different calculus. that's about break-even for me - if those prices diverge further, then I will just need to stop driving as much. currently, I am managing about 50 miles/week at most.
