The real problem is with browser extension permission models. It should have far less privileges.
- marcthe12 3y agoTechnically that is what chrome MV3 is. The issue with that is they also heavily restricted any kind of content blocker by removing most APIs with a declarative api
- ThunderSizzle 3y agoThe permissions granted should be more granular and controlled by the user, not less granular and controlled by Google. MV3 is the reason I switched back hesitantly to Firefox.
