Why would company CEOs want to pay more rent?
- malermeister 3y agoMaybe the company owns the building and doesn't want its value to drop?
- CapstanRoller 3y agoFunny how they want to retain the value of the building while externalizing all the downsides to workers and the environment at large.
- malermeister 3y agoWelcome to capitalism, baby!
- jonhohle 3y agoThey may already be in multi-year contracts. The last company I worked for was subletting space from a flash in the pan dotcom that signed a 10-year lease on the building. It’s possible the rent was the only revenue the company still had.
