Still a fantastic discovery, because now there are more powerful automated algorithm improvement discovery pipelines. I wonder what will happen when those improvements are added to the processing that found the improvements. :D
- bgirard 3y agoYes, I'm not discounting the results. I think it's a very interesting approach. I just think the language is important here. If you ask a CS class turn in their own quick sort implementation, you have n implementations of 1 algorithm, not n new algorithms.
