Poll: What price range would you consider acceptable for Vision Pro
If price were the only determining factor, what would be your acceptable price range for Vision Pro
- smoldesu 3y agoI think $1,500-2,000 makes it at least price competitive with other premium headsets. Right now the price feels more like the Airpods Max, where it's a good 15-30% more expensive than the pre-existing high end ANC headphones were.
- PaulHoule 3y agoI would say it competes with https://simulavr.com/ https://simulavr.com/ at $2700 and a 30% Apple premium puts it in at $3500.
- 8organicbits 3y agoFor anyone who missed the announcement: https://www.apple.com/apple-vision-pro/ https://www.apple.com/apple-vision-pro/
- NickC25 3y agoI'm not sure exactly how much Apple subsidized the original iPhone, but if they want adoption and want people actually using this thing, they'd better use the same strategy. Apple heavily subsidized the original iPhone, and we all know how that went. If it's not priced for innovation, nobody besides wealthy corporations will develop for it, and that will kill the product.
- mikecoles 3y ago$19.99, for two. I have no use for one, but it may be possible to scavenge parts.
