- sam_lowry_ 3y agoThere is no easy way to release the hand brake in the new BMW 1 series without starting the engine. They had a pin to pull in the trunk and older cars had a tool for this, but mine does not, and I could not find the pin in the dark of the night either. Automobile is as broken as software and hardware. Things will start falling apart one day.
