I think your assessment is flat out wrong. AI has already made many problems much easier to solve and reduced the capital cost for a lot of economically valuable activities. AI has had meaningful positive effects in almost everyone's life. That said the capabilities of novel LLMs are pretty amazing - to the point where I'm able to be more efficient daily by using it.
