I think it is already supporting installing with the base M2 chip and they are putting in support for the Pro/Max/Ultra in the kernel in just this latest releas

I think it is already supporting installing with the base M2 chip and they are putting in support for the Pro/Max/Ultra in the kernel in just this latest release, with install support for those machines coming soon.
