Err, forgive me being stupid this morning, but what “collaboration and brainstorming” goes on for most employees in an insurance company? Unless customers come to the office to discuss matters, everything is done electronically or at the site of the insurance claim. They’re sales, data entry, customer service or other kinds of support people. This requires an internet connection and a nice rig (assuming voip). Or, this is just a way of shedding staff to reduce costs or even move the company. No costs when the staff quits…
