Worst case of this is online reviews at Home Depot. Every review is five stars even when the text is something like "it spontaneously combusted as soon as we brought it in the house and killed one of my children."

- bombcar 3y agoReviewers have learned if they say anything remotely negative AND give less than perfect stars, the review is found “wanting” or “in violation of our code of conduct” and never published. So people work out how to game it.
