Some would argue that cases where euthanasia is a serious option, healthcare in not healthcare either, and in fact may be closer to torture.
And I don’t have a problem with mental illness being the sole criteria. If drugs with horrible side effects are the only thing keeping me, sane but miserable, death my feel like the best option.
- arcticbull 3y agoWhen the time comes, I think I'll be opting for it myself. There's never any dignity in death. That's hopefully a very long time from now though! It's a personal choice, and I'm happy folks are finally being given the choice of how they want to go out when the time comes.
