Yeah Tesla saved the guy 40k, how rude
- jklp 15y agoI think it was more the fact that Tesla didn't tell their customers they had GPS tracking equipment fitted to their vehicles. If a service manager could access the location information I'd imagine quite a few other staff at Tesla could too ...
- Geee 15y agoI'm pretty sure they have been open about this. At least I remember reading this somewhere on their website. I think it was part of their 'product testing' program or something, where you would allow Tesla to track everything to gather data for their purposes to make the car better.

- replax 15y agoYes, true, read it now - I usually always read the comments first to know whether an article is worth reading, but commenting before reading is not smart...
