LaserDiscs Are Dying (2018)
- WarOnPrivacy 3y agoWe have at least 3 laserdisc players, the latest being McIntosh MLD 7020 (basically a reskinned Pioneer CLD-97). Watched Falling Down last week. We haven't noticed any degradation issues with the discs themselves. By the article we should assume it's because they've been stored well.
- NikkiA 3y agoHumidity is probably the key, so depending on where you are there will be a massive variance in lifespan of the discs.
- martin1b 3y agoHave a pile of inherited laserdiscs. not sure what to do with em.. Anyone want to trade vintage computers for a bunch of laserdiscs?
