- olliej 3y agoNo. Isolation is harm prevention. It does nothing to treat or cure TB. The choices for "a person has a highly transmissible, extremely dangerous disease" are: a. Treating the disease b. Isolation from others c. Imprisonment This person did not want (a), and agreed to (b), and then demonstrated wanton disregard for everyone else, so is now getting (c).
