Does this compete with Virtualbox, VMWare, etc?

  Does virtualbox compete with anything? Every time I've used it it's dog slow and / or has network issues. UTM doesn't have as many settings as VMWare Fusion but stability and performance wise it's on par. It's also open source and free.

    But it doesn’t support GPU passthrough? Which seems like a pretty big deal for many uses cases.
