I prefer it to the crystal/glass shard previous concept. The ability to customize the colours is appreciated because I can bypass my irrational hatred of the colour purple. Aside from aesthetic preferences, I like their design logic. Good job.

It also captures the appearance of obsidian shards very well, the old one is like a generic gemstone icon from a dated video game.
