Rare photos from the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan
- 082349872349872 3y agoRare by some measure? FWIW youtube is full of soviet-afghanistan war songs with footage of varying provenance. I forget what they were called for real, but "Афганские песни" seems like a reasonable search term to start with. eg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zx4kWJLMKNM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zx4kWJLMKNM (in high irony, Putin's concert at the start of his "antifascist" UA invasion featured « Кукушка »; no doubt both Tsoi and Pavlichenko were spinning in their graves...)
