Well written article. Not funny at all. The biggest benefit of EVs is clearly on urban air pollution. The Prius brought us high MPGs, also a huge benefit. EVs are a result of “if a little is good, more is better” decisionmaking, and all the green credentials got conflated. A sad example of what John Kerry called “trivialized decisiveness”.
