I now fully agree with the author's take on AI programming after read the article, though its still worth to learn programminig as of now. Only if you know the in and outs of a computer and coding logic, why this and that happen, what is under the hood etc, then you will have enough confidence and fully understand and control everything, thus more efficiency and time saving. I regard prompt programmers are still a kind of tech debt, always a tickbomb though, of course it is a must have job class in the future. Finally, I think only Ai achieves AGI level then the everything described in the article will be 100% true and right, imo we have to at least wait another 3-5 years to see that happen.
