I wonder what label will be applied to rounding up people and forcing them to labor? Particularly the minorities?
- bombcar 3y agoWe’ve tried the “round up undesirables and put them in work camps.” Work didn’t make them free and it didn’t get a standing ovation overall.

- ericfrenkiel 3y agoThe label you are looking for is “duly convicted party,” per the 13th Amendment: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”
