- ftxbro 3y agoI don't have FT access, but Ted Chiang is also author of "ChatGPT is a blurry JPEG of the web" (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34724477 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34724477). EDIT: ok someone posted an archive link and I see they talked about it in this FT article. His latest take is "With AI, he says: “It feels like there’s someone on the other end. But there isn’t.”"
