Completely anecdotal: I know that my partners younger tween/teen relatives are into VR. They're the next/current generation of growing consumers. Don't discount what the younger people might adopt and make into something huge just because you yourself don't see the point yet. It'll be interesting to see what the teens of today are building with VR when they're in their 20's & 30's.
