Ditching a Phone Case Is the Latest Symbol of Stealth Wealth
- YourDadVPN 3y agoI didn't have a case on my Pixel 6 for almost a year. Now it has a cracked back. And a case. This phone seems engineered to be dropped. When I had an iPhone Mini, I didn't have a case and I never dropped it because the phone is actually ergonomic.
- h2odragon 3y agoI've ditched keeping a phone, entirely. The minimum price is $30/mo now (subsidies), Android phones want replacing for some made up reason every year, regardless of function, just to keep the network talking to them; and I got no one I wanted to talk to in the first place. Ive got a 5+ year old tablet that doesn't wear a case because it stays by the bedside table and doesn't go anywhere else. There was a case available for it when it was new, which i bought, which dissolved after a few years, and now there's no equivalent made for my tablet.
