If the simple marketing landing page of a project is slow because it runs a huge substack of PHP for literally nothing I wouldn't qualify that as boring tech but just lazy. You don't need a dynamic CMS for a boring landing page. The only reason I still use Wordpress is e-commerce where plenty of overhead is the standard anyway
