    One could argue the number of errors has no known limit therefore less is grammatically correct :)

      You've got me wondering if I'm wrong about this, which would be hilarious as for years I've been that dick who only knows one grammatical rule and annoys people with it all the time. I always thought it was discrete Vs continuous not infinite Vs finite.
