- bombcar 3y agoThere's also a per-family maximum (and somewhere deep in the documents may be a maximum total the insurance company will pay out, but they can't do this for essential health benefits anymore; doesn't mean they won't try). Sadly, if you're sitting around a hospital room, researching and reading up on insurance billing is probably a worthwhile use of time.
