I've always wondered why brakes don't have a variable brightness based on how hard the driver is braking. If you've ever been behind someone who has braked hard, part of the danger is not realizing just how fast they're stopping.
- nateb2022 3y agoPerhaps the reverse lights could activate when extremely hard braking is applied.
- trgn 3y agoNew cars they flicker rapidly I thought
- imp0cat 3y agoYes, they do. Some even activate hazard lights when coming to a rapid stop.
- globular-toast 3y agoYeah, but really you were just driving close to the person in front. Remember, the person in front could emergency brake at any time. Even if you manage to detect that and emergency brake too, is the person behind you going to be able to? Just don't drive close. Train yourself on what the proper distance is and stick to it.
